Cute hotel, sloppy and invasive cleaning service

I was a guest of WUniversity and they put me at this hotel. The rooms are as cute as they look in the picture. On the bright side, the breakfast was good, both in terms of quality and variety. On the negative side, the cleaning service ruined my stay. On the first day, I had to work in the room until noon. I put the do not disturb sign on the door and fired away on my laptop. At some point during the morning I went to the bathroom and I suddenly heard a male voice in German in the room. I completely freaked out. A male member of the cleaning crew had entered the room despite the do not disturb sign to ask if I wanted the room cleaned. I came out of the bathroom to tell him to come back after lunch but I could not sleep well for the rest of my stay out of fear that someone else will barge in while I am asleep. Moreover, on the first day, the cleaning service did not replace any of the dirty glasses and cups I had used that day and on the second day they did replace the dirty glassware, but they did not make the bed or change the towels. Overall, this was the sloppiest cleaning service I have ever experienced, so I will never consider this hotel again.

the worst experience in terms of services that I have encountered at a hotel. we sat down at the table when we arrived at the hotel and although there were few occupied tables, no one came to ask us if we wanted to serve something. the reception also leaves a lot to be desired. the restaurant was closed when it was supposed to be open, he brought us menus and when we wanted to order food he said we couldn't order because the chefs had left. I asked if we could order from somewhere else and when the food came he said we couldn't eat there. The rooms are not the best either, very small and the prices quite high. I do not recommend!

Good: - overall atmosphere of the hotel and rooms - very good breakfast (with the exception of the eggs from a can) - multi platform streaming to tv - location (close to the metro) Bad: - staff is clearly missing the necessary training and is sometimes even unintentionally impolite - carpet in our room had a large stain All in all, the hotel has just one major thing that’s lacking: the staff training. Some of them don’t seem to realise they’re in a hotel and how the hotel functions, or how to behave in certain situations.

When travelling me and my partner usually find a place where we can just rest our heads for the night, however we enjoyed this hotel so much we found ourselves coming back earlier in the evening so we enjoyed all the amenities it had to offer. This included; • a fridge • a water bottle that can be refilled at the stylist taps in reception • comfortable bedding and seating area •modern and clean bathroom • a large tv that not only offered local channels and a few channels in different languages but had the option to connect your device and stream content straight to the TV, this was a nice touch as it meant we could enjoy watching the things we wanted to in the comfort of the room. In the room there was also a device called a suite pad, this was one of the best things we’ve ever had in a hotel room, it was a helpful guide to not only the local area and information regarding our stay, but also helped with arranging room cleaning and ordering breakfast. We can honestly say that this is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in and it helped make our trip a holiday we will never forget. Thank you to all the helpful and wonderful staff at the Bassena

Quite good hotel. Not Perfect if we compare quality to the hotel price. Really good location and nice breakfast. If we are looking for the sevices there is no iron in the room and it's weird for the business hotel. Very nice and helpful Staff 24h. If you are looking something close to prater or expo (messe) it is a good choice.
